It’s not often in this advertising life that you get to work for a great client, with a wonderful social impact-driven agency, and create good for your community–all in one brief. But Mailchimp’s Bloom season was one of them. Offering up their platform and spotlight, Mailchimp’s Bloom Season is a digital treasure trove of articles, videos, and practical advice by and for LGBTQ+ small business owners and entrepreneurs.
This project engaged every part of my brain. From sourcing and interviewing LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs, writing copy and articles, sourcing and working with LGBTQ+ illustrators all over the world, shooting, editing, and even choosing design language and color schemes. What a gift this was.
